Emmerdale ‘confirms’ truth about missing teen April as new clue emerges after d.e.a.t.h twist
Emmerdale viewers are convinced that they know what happened to April Windsor after she went missing on Christmas Day following a twist in her story's plot in the ITV soap
Emmerdale fans have an update on the disappearance of April Windsor.
The young character has been missing since Christmas Day, leaving her father Marlon Dingle distraught. Initially, there were fears she had been kidnapped, but it was later revealed that she had taken money suggesting she had run away.
In a shocking twist, Jacob discovered a young girl from Leeds had been rushed to hospital with a stab wound and was found with April’s purse, leading him to inform Marlon and Rhona.
Further details about the incident suggested that April may have instigated the fight. However, it was later revealed that the stabbed girl wasn’t April, leading viewers to speculate about what happened to her.
One fan tweeted: “#Emmerdale I knew it wasn’t April. She probably stabbed the girl while trying to steal her purse,” while another posted: “I’m calling it… It ain’t April, it’s the git that robbed her.. I bet she actually stabbed them! #Emmerdale.”
Another viewer shared: “Maybe April stabbed that girl when defending herself #emmerdale,” and a fourth wrote: “April had her purse nicked. The thief then tried to nick somebody else’s, and they were stabbed. It’s the thief in AandE #Emmerdale.”, reports the Mirror.
In a dramatic turn of events tonight, Marlon and Rhona were informed that April had passed away – only to later discover that the deceased girl was not her. The surgeon detailed: “We did everything we could but despite our best efforts, we were unable to save her. She died during surgery. The stab wound caused a laceration to her liver that we couldn’t repair. I’m afraid she lost a lot of b.l.o.o.d and went into cardiac arrest.”
When asked about whether she suffered, the surgeon reassured: “She was under anaesthetic, she would have been asleep the whole time.” Devastated by the news, Marlon and Rhona pleaded to see her.
The police then clarified that they would need to formally identify the body, with Marlon agreeing to do so promptly. However, it was later unveiled that the victim was not April, but another teenage girl.
