Emmerdale confirms unexpected return as dark secret is uncovered in 20 pictures
Emmerdale confirms another dramatic week for both the residents of the village and the viewers at home, as previewed in my brand new spoiler pictures, with emotional scenes on the cards.
Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), as viewers know, has been worried sick about the whereabouts of April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), who vanished without a trace on Christmas Day.
Following a health scare, the chef has been under strict orders to control his stress levels and not push himself too hard but next week he ultimately does just that, with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) urging him to slow down.
As tensions flare at Smithy Cottage, things take an unexpected turn as PC Swirling (Andy Moore) arrives with big news, informing concerned parents Marlon and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) that April has been located.
Viewers are then given the opportunity to see April’s tragic story unfold in a very special episode.
Elsewhere in the village, Kim Tate (Claire King) clocks the chemistry between Joe (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
Determined to cover his tracks, Joe uses his p.a.i.n.k.i.l.l.e.r story to quell Kim’s suspicions and his efforts prove successful, with passion ensuing between he and Dawn shortly afterwards.
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), however, could prove to be a thorn in Joe’s side once again as she takes action when her own fears about the young businessman grow.
Meanwhile, Caleb Miligan (William Ash) quizzes Cain (Jeff Hordley) about his alleged one night stand with Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
Cain denies everything. Will his lies convince Caleb? Or is it too little too late?
It’s going to be quite a week!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, February 3 and Friday, February 7 at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
