Emmerdale ‘confirms’ who exposes Cain and Ruby secret – and it’s not Caleb
Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is set to face some questions from wife Moira (Natalie J Robb), who knows full well that there is something playing on his mind.
The mechanic, as viewers know, has been racked with guilt over sleeping with sister-in-law Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) while Moira was undergoing surgery to remove her brain tumour.
After being scolded for letting her down previously, Cain has been on his best behaviour in recent weeks, being by Moira’s side every step of the way as she embarks on her radiotherapy journey.
But despite having proven to have learned from his mistakes, Moira is starting to notice that there is something on Cain’s mind, with Wednesday’s (January 15) edition of the ITV soap seeing her confide her fears in Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick).
Not happy with Cain’s reluctancy to take her to the hospital for her next round of treatment, Moira told Vanessa that she fears Cain no longer finds her attractive.
Vanessa was quick to dispel such a theory, urging her to talk to her husband about what’s on her mind.
Moira reiterated her intention to do just that, knowing full well that there is something going on – and she intends to find out what!
Will Moira be the one to uncover Cain and Ruby’s betrayal? The guilt of his actions are weighing heavily on Cain so it seems it’s only a matter of time before it all spills out.
Caleb Miligan (William Ash), meanwhile, found out a very big secret in tonight’s episode as he learned that Steph (Georgia Jay) was not his daughter.
Ruby, as viewers know, was sexually abused by dad Anthony (Nicholas Day) when she was a teenager, which means that the abuser is Steph’s biological father.
