Emmerdale ‘confirms’ who really d.i.e.s in limo crash – and it’s more than one villager
In emotional scenes aired last night, Emmerdale fans watched as several of the villagers' lives were put in danger.
Emmerdale fans think soap bosses have confirmed who really d.i.e.d in the limo crash during Friday night’s cliffhanger episode.
In distressing scenes, Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) finally confronted his half-brother about sleeping with his wife, Ruby (Beth Cordingly) – and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) didn’t deny it.
Caleb was driving the limo packed full of the male villagers – including Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was driving the other limo, which was full of the female villagers and GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson).
Mandy and Liam had swapped places because the doctor wanted to ask Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) to marry him.
However, as Caleb got angry with Cain, he began to speed up the limo, resulting in a horrific crash.
When asked if the rumour was true, Caleb argued: “Like I’d lie about something like that.”
“It wasn’t like that,” Cain insisted. “I can explain. It meant nothing.”
Caleb shouted: “Did you hear that? My wife meant nothing to him. Well, she means everything to me.”
As Caleb began to accelerate, it cut to Liam trying to propose to Chas in the other limo. However, as the episode came to a close, Charity let out a gasp before it seemed like the vehicles collided.
And while soap bosses haven’t confirmed whether who lives or d.i.e.s, fans have been sharing their own theories online – and many think more than one villager will die.
In a previous clip, the soap teased the identity of a person trapped under an icy lake—but who could it be?
Taking it to a Facebook fan page, one fan shared a screenshot that seemed to confirm it was the girls’ limo that plunged into the icy lake.
They wrote: “YES!! finally been confirmed. It’s the girls’ limo! Knew it, can’t wait for next week.”
Someone else wrote: “I think Liam died cos Cain is seen upset at the grave in the trailer, and he and Liam were friends.”
“I think Amy and Liam,” another replied while a fourth shared: “Liam or Chas.”
“Yes, and flowers spelt a name with four letters,” another suggested.
Throwing another theory into the mix, one fan said: “I think Tracey and Liam and I think they will find Anthony’s body.”
Emmerdale is available to watch on ITVX.
