Emmerdale has confirmed who is trapped underwater after the d.e.a.d.l.y limo crash and it's not looking good for one villager as they fight for their life in horrific scenes
Emmerdale has revealed the character who finds themselves in a perilous situation trapped in an icy lake following the deadly limo stunt – and they’re not alone.
The aftermath of the limo crash was unveiled in Monday’s (February 17) episode, now available on ITVX, following Friday’s (February 14) suspense-filled cliffhanger.
A total of 17 villagers found themselves at risk as two groups set off for a night out, only to end up crashing en route. The women’s limo, carrying Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Dr Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson), plunged into an icy lake after the crash.
Meanwhile, the men’s limo was filled with Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), Sam Dingle (James Hooton), Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), Caleb Miligan (Will Ash), Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) Paddy Dingle (Dominic Brunt) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley), who had swapped places with Liam. The crash resulted in the tragic death of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) after she hit her head on the roof of the vehicle, while the others planned their escape from the sinking limo one by one.

Drama unfolded as Chas, Liam, Charity, and Vanessa managed to escape, but Amy’s fate hangs in the balance after she plunged into the icy lake when the ice gave way beneath her. In a shocking turn of events, she caught a glimpse of another body submerged beneath the surface, but the identity remains a mystery.
Meanwhile, Kerry, Leyla, and Suzy are still trapped in the limousine, leaving their survival uncertain. In another development, Liam collapsed after reaching solid ground, prompting those nearby to rush to his aid, reports Leeds Live.

Caleb also brutally attacked Cain following a confrontation about his affair with Caleb’s wife, Ruby. Charity revealed that she swerved to avoid her son Noah, who was inexplicably standing in the middle of the road, and she’ll be demanding answers if she survives.
Speaking about the stunt, Roxy Shahidi said: “Obviously, they’ve pulled out all the stops. “I’m guessing a hell of a lot of money must have been spent, as it is a really epic stunt. I think it really will go down in Emmerdale history without a doubt.”

“I think the thing that was most enjoyable for me was the camaraderie on set. It was such a fantastic, gorgeous group of girls that I was working with.”
She described the set with high praise, saying: “It was just a really lovely atmosphere. So supported, so loving and we just had a fantastic time.”
She continued enthusiastically about the production’s authenticity: “It was so real I felt cold just looking at it. They covered the carpark in wax but there were holes dug in it. So there were massive holes in it – that people could actually fall in.”
She explained the intricate staging: “And they got the car with its passengers to break through this wax surface layer and then slip down under. I just don’t know how they did it – it is beyond my knowledge – all I know is it looked really good. When I arrived saw the set the moon was out and reflecting off the ice – it was just stunning.”
