Emmerdale d.e.a.t.h ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ who Mackenzie is running from in flashforward
Emmerdale fans are certain they know what happens to Mackenzie in his flashforward.
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve cracked the mystery behind Mackenzie Boyd’s flashforward.
The ITV soap aired several glimpses into the future at New Year, including a scene of Caleb Miligan (William Ash) fighting for his life in hospital, a chilling clip of someone trapped under an icy lake, and a flashforward featuring fan favourite Mack (Lawrence Robb) running scared.
This week, the flashforward of the hand under the ice was revisited – following the limo crash that claimed three lives: Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
The ladies’ limo, carrying Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), plunged into an icy lake after the crash.
In a shocking twist, Amy Barton discovered a d.e.a.d body under the lake but d.i.e.d before she could reveal what she saw. After the horrifying reveal of the decaying corpse, fans are now certain it’s Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) and that he was k.i.l.l.e.d by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve cracked the mystery of Mackenzie Boyd’s flashforward scene, with speculation rife about who he’s fleeing from.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, a viewer pondered: ” Someone help me out here…. in all the flashbacks we see Mack running through the woods but that never happened.
“Is this still a future episode do we think? As why is he running. I’m confused,” they continued, reports Leeds Live.

Fellow fans were quick to theorise in the comments, suggesting that Mack might be escaping from John and could even be the next character to meet a grim fate. “John will be chasing Mack through the woods.
He was close with Nate and if he starts to suspect John then John will go after him. It’s not going to end well,” one fan predicted.
Another concurred, saying: “I think he’s running away from John because Nate was his friend.”
