Emmerdale Dawn Fletcher’s prison fate ‘exposed’ but it’s not for pushing Joe Tate
Emmerdale fans are convinced that Dawn Fletcher will be going to prison in upcoming scenes
Emmerdale fans believe that Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) might face time behind bars after noticing an incriminating piece of evidence.
Soap watchers will know that Dawn has been having an affair with villain Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) over the last few months.
Dawn made the tough decision to leave her heartbroken husband, Billy (Jay Kontzle), who later discovered her undercover affair with Joe after he intimidated Dawn and Billy’s daughter, Clemmie Reed (Mabel Addison).
After learning about Joe’s blackmailing, Dawn confronted him in his bedroom during Lydia Dingle’s (Karen Blick) 50th birthday party, and ended up pushing him out of an upstairs window.
Joe ended up with a fractured pelvis and brain haemorrhage, landing him in a medically-induced coma, reports Belfast Live.

Joe has since regained consciousness and reassured Dawn he’d keep quiet about the incident to the police.
Yet, Dawn’s ordeal with Billy hasn’t gotten any easier. Realising she still harbours feelings for Joe despite his actions towards Clemmie, Billy issued an ultimatum.
“I don’t trust you any more, Dawn. You’ve lied to me, you’ve lied to the kids, and you’re happy to live here with the guy who threatened our daughter!” he said last week.
“I do not know you anymore… I want full custody of our kids, they’re not staying here in this toxic environment!”

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Billy briefly mentioned DI Mark Malone (Mark Womack) in their heated conversation, with many certain that he could use his knowledge as ammunition.
Emmerdale fans will recall that Malone was k.i.l.l.e.d by Dawn in self-defence in 2020, bringing his reign of terror in the village to an end.
In an attempt to cover-up Dawn’s actions, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) buried Malone’s body in an already-occupied grave at the village cemetery.
When the daughter of the other man made plans to have his body exhumed, Dawn’s dad, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) took control and re-buried Malone’s body on a secluded spot at Home Farm.

Several soap fans are convinced that Billy’s recent mention of Malone could spell trouble for Dawn in upcoming scenes.
“The other day when Billy and Dawn were arguing in the living room, Billy made a throwaway comment about Malone. It was quick and slipped through everything else. But what if he reports it to the police? He knows where the body’s buried I think?” one person wrote on a Facebook fan page.
“I found it pretty interesting that Kerry and Amy resolved Frank’s d.e.a.t.h recently, too… Are the writers tying up loose ends that have been frayed for years?”
Another added: “That’s led to a brilliant theory! There’s no way Malone’s name is just brought up one day for the hell of it.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
