Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ in earth-shattering twist villagers won’t see coming
An almighty bombshell is about to hit Emmerdale village as revealed in new spoilers, and now one star of the ITV soap has teased another twist that could seal one or two exits
There could be a shocking exit on Emmerdale looming for one or two characters, in the aftermath of a d.e.a.t.h being announced.
Villagers on the ITV soap are about to make the earth-shattering discovery that someone has been m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d. In the aftermath two different characters are in the frame despite none of them being the true k.i.l.l.e.r.
That said, there’s enough evidence it seems to suggest one if them could be framed for the m.u.r.d.e.r – and it could lead to an exit. Nate Robinson’s shocking demise finally comes to light next week in what will lead to emotional scenes for his loved ones.
Viewers know that John Sugden accidentally k.i.l.l.e.d Nate back in September before dumping his body in the lake. He has since orchestrated it so that it’s looked as though Nate did go to Shetland as planned, and had cut off his family.
This was rumbled though when Nate’s aunt Belle Dingle found out he never made it to the company he was meant to work for, and had sent them a text claiming he’d changed his mind. There’s also the fact ‘Nate’ has messaged Tracy from Shetland, and also organised for his things to be moved – while fans know John had burned them.

Things take a turn in the coming weeks though as recent scenes put Tracy Robinson in the frame over her husband’s m.u.r.d.e.r. Nate’s dad Cain Dingle will also find himself a suspect in the crime, while real k.i.l.l.e.r John remains undetected.
So will poor Tracy or Cain be arrested for the crime, and could one of them be sent down for Nate’s d.e.a.t.h? This could well lead to an exit for one of the characters of they are successfully framed.
Speaking to The Mirror, Tracy actress Amy Walsh teased Tracy could be at risk. She spilled: “I had a meeting months ago, it was all to do with Tracy and the cost of living, and her stealing from Pollard.
“I thought, ‘oh gosh, is this my exit? Do I go prison?’, they said no it’s not, and that finding out the Nate thing is further down the line. Up until it came about that Tracy might be framed for it or a suspect for it I didn’t know anything about it. It came off the back of another story where I was asking a question about something that we’d shot.
“They said that has to happen for this and I was like, ‘Oh right, great’.” She confirmed it had been “seeded” for a while all the things that would eventually make Tracy a suspect. She explained: “Just little bits like Tracy using Nate’s credit card cos that plants her further in the frame for having a motive to get rid of him.”
But it seems Tracy soon puts someone else in the frame, as she grows convinced Cain is to blame – while John doesn’t cross anyone’s minds as the k.i.l.l.e.r despite being the last person to see him alive. Tracy and her sister Vanessa Woodfield reveal all about Nate and Cain’s fight, and soon the police have questions.
But it’s something that Cain does after the d.e.a.t.h news that sparks suspicions with Tracy. Amy revealed: “[He’s] really, very emotional about it and it’s just not very Cain is it. So it strikes a chord and Vanessa is like gosh I’ve never seen him like that.
“In that moment Tracy thinks oh my God I’ve just figured it out. It’s not sadness, it’s guilt. It’s full, real emotion and she runs with it. There’s a theory the k.i.l.l.e.r must be in the village cos the phone was there all this time. No one thinks it’s anyone else.”
Things soon turn explosive for Tracy and Cain, as she’s forced to defend herself against the village. “She’s very blinkered at this stage,” Amy said. “She’s only interested in proving herself to be innocent. It gets very nasty between Tracy and Cain and those scenes were brilliant. I loved it.”
