Emmerdale viewers have found much hilarity in Manpreet Sharma’s (Rebecca Sarker) super sonic hearing in last night’s episode.
It was a conversation between Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) that she overheard – despite it being seemingly implausible.
The two were discussing the death of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), who met his maker last week when his abuse of daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) was finally exposed.
Seeing a striking comparison between the paedophile’s behaviour and that of his own father Aaron, he then realised Anthony had died from his injuries.
The incident sparked fear in Aaron, and despite John assuring him that he had d.e.a.l.t with the crime scene, he’s struggling to d.e.a.l with the fact he’s m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d a man.
To make matters worse, the pair then learnt that the police had been called out to the Caleb Milligan International – where Anthony was k.i.l.l.e.d – to investigate some stolen money.
John arrived under the guise of fitting a defibrillator and kept a close eye on Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) who was insistent that authorities got a forensics team into the depot.
As he was searching for a place to fit the defib, he discovered Anthony’s tooth on the floor.
As he attempted to retrieve the gummy article, he was interrupted by Caleb (William Ash).
Luckily, Caleb admitted to taking the money and Jai asked the police to stand down on their investigations.
In the middle of the night, John and Aaron met up outside of the garage to discuss moving Anthony’s car.
Little did they realise, Manpreet was listening in on their chat from her bedroom and watched them walk off.

Despite being behind a pane of glass, and some distance away from them on the other side of Main Street, it seemed like she’d heard everything.
Posting a video of the incident on their X feed, Emmerdale wrote: ‘You never know who might be listening.’
User @Tatty0_0 was quick to observe Manpreet’s incredible senses, writing: ‘Not a chance she could have heard them from there.’

@RenHarvey joked: ‘Through a closed window! Yeah right.’
@chattymandan offered a more reasonable explanation, writing: ‘No way she’d of heard them with the wind. Maybe she’s gonna be suspicious of them talking together late at night.
[I] hope they make something up [and] say they were having a lovers tiff. [I] hope they don’t get found out tho I don’t think Aaron did it.’
