Emmerdale fans are speculating Ella Forster could have teamed up with a character to target Manpreet Sharma in a sinister blackmail storyline on the ITV soap
There could be a shocking twist involving Ella Forster on the way on Emmerdale after Friday’s episode.
The truth came out about what Manpreet Sharma was really hiding, as she learned she was being blackmailed over it. But as she opened up to Ella about her ordeal, she continued to receive messages from a mystery person threatening to expose her.
While some fans believed this ruled out Ella as the texter as she was sat with her, others believed Ella had teamed up with someone to take Manpreet down. Manpreet told Ella what Leyla Harding had found out about her before her d.e.a.t.h, and why she was being targeted.
It turned out Manpreet had been posting images of herself online, hinting to Ella they were of the racy kind. She was then convinced to join a subscription website, and now someone has obtained her images and is using them to threaten her.
They told her they would be in touch with their demands, but warned her not to go to the police. They showed her that they had saved copies of the images and were prepared to expose her to her patients leaving her in pieces.
But as Ella shared her horrified reaction, some fans believed they’d noticed a smirk. Viewers now believe that Ella is behind the shocking blackmail, but she cannot be working alone.

Unless she’s managed to schedule text messages for the times when she is with Manpreet, Ella cannot be the one sending them as she is not using her phone or any phone in the scenes. So if Ella is involved, it means someone else is sending the messages and they are working together.
Fans now wonder if they have cracked the case and know who Ella has teamed up with to target Manpreet. Taking to social media, fans shared their theories that Ella is to blame.
One fan posted: “Be interesting to see who’s she’s working with I reckon a man!” Another fan said: “Is this Ella’s leaving story???” as a third posted: “Anyone else actually think Ella?” As for who it could be working with Ella after seeing a mystery person in a brown coat and black gloves seemingly watching Manpreet, viewer speculated it could be her ex and vicar Charles Anderson.
