Emmerdale actor Jurell Carter is reportedly set to leave his role as Nate Robinson after five years and insiders have teased his exit "will go down in history"

An Emmerdale hunk is set to leave the village for good after five years.

Jurrell Carter will reportedly leave the ITV soap after making his debut as Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) secret love child back in 2019 and embarked on a steamy affair with his father’s wife Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).

He eventually made amends with the Dingles and went on to marry Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) but their relationship ended in tatters after she cheated on him with his uncle Caleb Milligan (Will Ash).

However, according to The Sun, a spokesperson saod: “Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different. It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won’t be one to miss.”

“Who knows what will happen, but I feel her character has a lot of legs in terms of where she could go with storylines and who she could be linked up with. Even with Cara and Nate as a mother and son duo, I think that’d be really nice to see.

“Carryl was only in for a couple of months and then she revisited the role for a few eps. I wanted to see more of her a few years ago, so I’d definitely love her back again and I think everyone on set would too.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
