Emmerdale k.i.l.l.e.r ‘confirmed’ as fans ‘work out’ who m.u.r.d.e.r.s Anthony in dark twist

Emmerdale viewers have predicted who will k.i.l.l Anthony Fox next week after he's m.u.r.d.e.r.e.d in a dark twist - and it's not Ruby or Caleb who are the prime suspects

Emmerdale’s Anthony Fox, portrayed by Nicholas Day, is slated for a shocking exit in a m.u.r.d.e.r plot twist next week, and ITV soap enthusiasts believe they’ve figured out the k.i.l.l.e.r.

In Thursday’s episode set in the Dales (January 16), a distraught Ruby Fox-Miligan, played by Beth Cordingly, grappled with her daughter Steph’s (Georgia Jay) DNA results confirming Anthony as her biological father.

After being ousted from their home by her husband Caleb (William Ash) for concealing the truth about Steph’s paternity, she found solace in alcohol at the B&B.

Meanwhile, Caleb was still reeling from the revelation and was hell-bent on unravelling the mystery behind the DNA results. Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, paid Caleb a visit and revealed her knowledge of Steph’s DNA test.

She also voiced her suspicion that Ruby might have been forced into sex prior to her pregnancy, implying that she wasn’t to blame for the situation, reports Leeds Live.

Caleb cunningly lured Ruby’s teenage friend Rob, enacted by Josh Burdett, to the house under the pretence that he had assaulted her, fuelled by Anthony’s constant insinuations.

In another part of town, Anthony paid Ruby a visit and watched her sleep, startling her upon waking up. The father-daughter duo then engaged in a heated argument where Ruby confronted him about the traumatic abuse she endured as a teenager.

Anthony cautioned Ruby to remain silent about his appalling conduct, but she courageously defied him. Caleb confronted Rob with fierce accusations, believing him to be the culprit. Rob, shocked by the serious claims, insisted on his innocence and confided that he was gay, a secret only Ruby was privy to.

Rob also revealed Ruby’s fear of her father Anthony. After Caleb apologised and escorted Rob out, Chas hinted they had uncovered the identity of Steph’s father.

Chas suggested that Ruby had been s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y abused by Anthony, who could be Steph’s father, leaving Caleb appalled. Emmerdale viewers are now speculating that Steph might murder Anthony upon learning the truth.

On social media platform X, one viewer speculated: “I think its going to be Steph who k.i.l.l.s her grandfather, I think she will over hear her conception being discussed and k.i.l.l.s him, she won’t come under suspicion because they won’t k ow she knows #Emmerdale.”

Another predicted: “I think Steph’s gonna k.i.l.l him #Emmerdale”, while a third added: “Wonder if Steph kills the perv it would be horrible finding out your grandad is your dad #Emmerdale.”

One more fan suggested a twist: “They are trying to make it seem like Chas is going to k.i.l.l Antony because of what happened with Gordon and Aaron. Definitely a red herring. It will be Steph #Emmerdale”.
