Emmerdale killer return ‘rumbled’ – with a major baby twist in store for one villager
Ella Forster made her dramatic Emmerdale debut earlier this year and fans of the ITV soap are convinced the child killer, played by Paula Lane, will return in the near future
Emmerdale fans are convinced Ella Forster is set to make a return, and she’ll be pregnant with Liam Cavanagh baby in a surprise twist.
The character, played by former Coronation Street star Paula Lane, was first introduced to the ITV soap earlier this year during a veterinary ball where she made friends with Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).
Ella quit her job – while pouring a drink over her former boss’ head – but after visiting the village to thank Mandy for her support, she ended up being headhunted for a job at the new GP surgery by Manpreet Sharma.
She wasted no time in settling into her new surroundings and struck up a romance with Liam Cavanagh (played by Jonny McPherson). But Ella arrived in the village with a major secret, which was eventually revealed to be that she is a child killer, and took the life of her friend in a rage on her 11th birthday.
But fans of the ITV soap are convinced Ella is on her way back to the Dales. During a thread on Reddit, one person wrote: “Ella/Ruth, I think she will return pregnant with Liam’s baby, not much else to say.”
A second wrote: “I had that exact thought. There’s Liam conflicted over keeping one he thinks is a horrible person in his life so he could have his child. I could see a storyline of him trying to get full custody of the child and Ella lose custody completely.”
A third stated: “I would honestly enjoy that. She’s been one of the most interesting characters for a LONG while, with a terrific backstory. I also thought the actor was really good…but Liam treated her like scum, so I’m happy to have her back, but I wouldn’t see any reason why she should forgive him.” “Yeah, Paula Lane is great”, simply added another.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
