Former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz are gearing up for a hectic period on their farm with the expected arrival of new lambs.
Living with their four children on an expansive 120-acre property, the couple caught up with TV host Lorraine Kelly recently to give her the lowdown on their latest farm life developments.
During a video chat on her Wednesday show (March 5), Kelvin remarked, “Yeah, it’s about to get very busy for us, so we’re trying to make the most of these blue skies.”
He added with enthusiasm, “We’ve certainly got a spring in our step because the next few weeks we’ll be ready for lambing.”

Liz chimed in with some delightful news: “Really exciting, we’ve got the lambs that will be due about mid April. The kids will be off ready to help us and it’s a really busy time on the farm.”
In other news, Liz revealed last month that their popular TV series, Fletcher’s Family Farm, has concluded. The Sunday morning show kicked off in October 2023 and saw a second season debut in November the same year, with a special festive episode in 2024 taking the family from their Cheshire homestead to a visit to a family-run farm inside the Arctic Circle in Finland, reports Leicestershire Live.

Following the holiday special, the show ran until Liz announced its hiatus on Sunday, February 16.
The couple expressed their appreciation to their followers in an Instagram post led by Liz, which included her heartfelt message: “And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in week after week to see our farming journey!”.
Overjoyed by the reaction, they posted: “We are so grateful for all the lovely messages and comments and so happy that you have enjoyed watching it as much as we loved making it! This is only just the beginning! Happy Sunday!”.
Fans reacted positively, one commenting: “The best program in tv! What a lovely family life for your kiddies.” Another added: “Loved every episode. You guys are the best. Please let there be another series.” A third posted: “Love this series! Such a lovely family.”
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 at 9am
