Emmerdale Mandy Dingle’s downfall ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ who exposes her secret
Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who is going to expose Mandy Dingle's deal with the devil - but it's not Tina. Instead, Mandy's loyal cousin Lydia could be the one
Emmerdale viewers have made a bold prediction about who will expose Mandy Dingle’s secret, and it’s not the recently returned Tina Dingle.
The Dingle clan was thrown into chaos with the unexpected arrival of long-lost family member Tina (Samantha Power), last seen in the village in 1996, but who made a surprise comeback earlier this month.
Tina returned to the Dales for her father Zak’s (Steve Halliwell) funeral, who tragically passed away off-screen and was brought back from Scotland to the Emmerdale village. As anticipated, the funeral was filled with drama, as Tina audaciously tried to stake her claim on the Wishing Well cottage.
However, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) quickly put her in her place, revealing she had a copy of Zak’s final wishes which stated otherwise. The cottage had been bequeathed to Tina’s siblings Cain (Jeff Hordley), Sam (James Hooton) and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
Since then, Tina has been determined to get her hands on the will to prevent the family from proving the house has been left to the others. Moreover, fans discovered this week that Tina is the biological mother of Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) son Vinny (Bradley Johnson).
While Vinny knows Mandy isn’t his biological mum, he and the rest of the family are oblivious to his true parentage. Consequently, Tina has blackmailed Mandy, threatening to reveal everything to Vinny unless Mandy retrieves Zak’s will for her, reports Leeds Live.
During Thursday’s dramatic episode, Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle couldn’t resist temptation and secretly found Zak’s will. Despite letting Tina in on the discovery, fans are convinced that Mandy is heading for trouble.
Eagle-eyed viewers have taken to social media to share their predictions about the fallout from Mandy’s sneaky move. “Mandy how could you be so selfish that family have been through enough,” one fan lamented on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page.
Another chimed in: “Lydia wrote the will for Zac, so she knows exactly what is in it.” A further comment read: “Yep she can easily say something when she realises the will has been changed.” While another viewer criticized the plotline: “Ridiculous story to give Mandy, does she not realise Lydia knows what Zak has said in the will?”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
