Emmerdale: Paddy Kirk cheats, emotional goodbye and Charity’s torture
The Dingles are at the heart of the action in next week's Emmerdale, ITV soap spoilers have revealed.
It’s been a difficult few months for Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) as well as Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) in Emmerdale as fans will know.
Charity ended up stabbing her partner Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) with a knife after having another night terror as the character is suffering from PTSD after shooting Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) father, which caused Mack to need emergency abdominal surgery at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Chas was diagnosed with breast cancer and needs surgery of her own to give herself a future as she fears the same fate as her late mother Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) who died of the illness last year.
Elsewhere, the King family has been struggling to keep it together after teenager Angel King (Rebecca Bakes) was involved in Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) tragic death which happened on New Year’s Eve. He died in a car accident when Angel took the wheel of a car they’d taken for a joyride.

His partner Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) is shocked when Paddy tells her about the kiss and her quiet reaction unsettles him.
After the operation, Chas is relieved to hear it went well. Later, the enormity of what she’s been through hits her, leaving Paddy heartbroken when he sees her emotional and vulnerable.

Angel’s heartbreaking goodbye to her family
Jimmy King (Nick Miles) is finding it hard to stay positive as he thinks about Angel’s likely departure. Her parents are holding back tears as Angel says a heartfelt goodbye to her family.
Angel, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy are heartbroken when the judge sentences Angelica to eight months in a secure children’s home.
Nicola can’t hold back her tears as she tries to imagine her daughter’s pain. Later that evening, Nicola tries to keep it together when Angel calls in a state of distress.
Unable to help her daughter, Nicola breaks down as she struggles with feeling helpless.
Charity keeps shutting Mackenzie out
Charity’s turmoil as she ignores Mackenzie
Charity confronts her abandonment fears after a revealing therapy session. Later that night, she leaves the house in distress, ignoring Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) chatter.
Mack is puzzled when he finds Charity missing and realises his error in not giving her the space she requested. After some searching, he locates Charity’s car stranded on a rural road.
Will they overcome this massive obstacle or does Charity have different plans for their relationship?
