Emmerdale return ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ who helped Joe Tate drug Noah
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know who the mystery doctor is that helped Joe Tate drug Noah DIngle.
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out the identity of the enigmatic ‘doctor’ who assisted Joe Tate in drugging Noah Dingle.
Joe, portrayed by Ned Porteous, made a dramatic comeback to the Dales in December, six years after his departure, and has already stirred up a significant amount of trouble for the villagers.
However, Joe is also concealing a major health secret. He’s been seen frequently taking p.a.i.n.k.i.l.l.e.r.s to alleviate symptoms, including chest pains, but he hasn’t yet disclosed his exact condition.
Furthermore, since his return, Joe has focused on his brother Noah Dingle (Jack Downham). Joe claims he wants to forge a relationship with Noah, but their mother Charity (Emma Atkins) is sceptical and suspects he has a hidden agenda.
This week, however, the plot thickened when Noah was discovered drugged in the middle of the road, leading to a massive limo crash. In Thursday’s episode (February 20), Noah woke up in hospital and was informed by doctors that he had likely been spiked.

As Noah tried to recall the events, he had vague flashbacks of being in a hospital where two indistinct figures appeared and injected him with a syringe – one seemed to be a doctor. It was then revealed that the other figure was none other than Joe, reports Leeds Live.
Emmerdale fans are buzzing with theories about the identity of the mystery doctor colluding with Joe, as speculation runs rampant on a Facebook fan page.
One viewer exclaimed: “I knew Joe couldn’t be trusted! ” The conversation quickly heated up with fans suggesting Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln) is the man in question.

Another chimed in: “Joe Tate is to blame, I think the other guy was Jamie.”
Echoing this sentiment, a third fan speculated: “It’s definitely not just a doctor more to come I think! ” And yet another fan insisted: “I really think it’s Jamie too! It makes sense.”
Jamie, portrayed by Claire King’s on-screen son Alex Lincoln, vanished from Emmerdale in 2021 after staging his own demise in a dramatic car accident, leaving his mother Kim to believe he was d.e.a.d while he secretly relocated to live with his daughter Millie and her grandmother.
