Emmerdale reveals who really sent flowers to Ruby after sick Anthony twist

Emmerdale aired chilling scenes on Friday as the Miligan family were left on edge

Emmerdale ended with a chilling twist on Friday’s episode as the Miligan family were left on edge when they received a bunch of flowers claiming to be from Anthony Fox.

Soap watchers will recall that Anthony is the late abusive father of Ruby Miligan with Ruby k.i.l.l.i.n.g Anthony earlier this year.

So far, the Miligans and some of the Dingle family are helping to hide the truth about Anthony’s ‘disappearance’ with Aaron Dingle’s husband-to-be John Sugden burying his body in the woods.

In recent scenes, Steph, who had been searching for her missing grandfather, was told the truth.

Steph was told by her mother Ruby that Anthony was her biological dad as well as her grandfather following his sick abuse.

Steph has been left traumatised over the news but has agreed to cover up his m.u.r.d.e.r with some of the other villagers.

On Friday’s episode, which is available on ITV X, Steph continued to struggle as she even collapsed in the road, leading to Joe Tate, who made a return during the episode, bringing her back to Ruby and Caleb Miligan.

However, the family were left horrified at the end of the episode when they received a bunch of flowers claiming to be from Anthony.

In the card attached to the flowers, it read: “I’m coming for you, Anthony” to which Caleb pointed out: “Well, it’s not Anthony, is it, it’s a sick joke!”

However, Steph then pointed out they only had John’s word that he buried Anthony and that he could still be alive as the episode came to an end.

Yet Emmerdale has already revealed the true flower sending culprit in spoilers for next week. In the upcoming scenes, Steph begins to spiral as she convinces herself that Anthony is still alive and sent the flowers.

When Jai Sharma admits to sending the flowers, Ruby discloses Anthony’s abuse and a humiliated Jai immediately backs off.

It’s not long until the family find Steph in the middle of the woods, attempting to dig up Anthony’s grave. Realising that the soil seems undisturbed, they turn their suspicions to John and question whether Anthony is d.e.a.d after all…

This comes as Emmerdale recently revealed what John is really capable of as his dark secrets were exposed on Thursday’s episode.

Emmerdale airs weekday nights at 7.30pm on ITV and STV with episodes available for streaming on ITVX and STVPlayer.
