Emmerdale ‘reveals’ whose grave Cain Dingle visits – but it’s not Amy or Nate’s
Emmerdale fans have ‘worked out’ Cain Dingle’s flashforward - and it’s heartbreaking
Emmerdale fans are certain they know whose grave Cain Dingle visits – and it’s not who you think.
Last year, the soap aired several flashforwards, giving fans a glimpse at what was to come in 2025. These flashforwards included Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) sprinting through the woods, running in fear of someone.
While Caleb Miligan (William Ash) appeared to be in serious danger in another scene, as he was seen flatlining while lying down on a hospital bed. What’s more, there was also an eerie clip of someone trapped under an icy lake, their hand pressed against the solid surface above them.
Soap legend Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had his own flashforward too; depicted standing by a freshly dug grave, indicating that a funeral has just occurred. He is seen dressed in a suit, having attended the service, and crying at the graveside.
And this week, the flashforward of the hand under the ice was shown – following the limo crash that resulted in three d.e.a.t.h.s: Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi).
And in a harrowing turn of events it was also revealed that another unknown villager is d.e.a.d – after Amy saw their decaying body in the water. Fans have since been convinced that the body is none other than Cain’s son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
But now, after the recent flashforward playing out on screens, fans have ‘worked out’ Cain’s flashforward – and it’s not Nate or Amy.
Alongside a photo of Cain at the grave, one person wrote on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page: “So is Cain is looking over Amy’s grave and not Nate’s in the flashback footage?”
Rushing to the comments section, a second said: “I don’t think it’s either of them.” A third agreed: “It’s definitely not Amy or Nate, Emmerdale wouldn’t give it away that easy.”
As for whose grave it is, fans reckon it could be Cain’s wife and soap legend Moira (Natalie J. Robb) – who recently found out that he cheated on her.
A third fan mused: “I think Cain and Moira’s split is leading to something more dramatic. Maybe she will d.i.e?” Another declared: “You might be right but I hope not I love Moira!”
