The sudden d.e.a.t.h of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) leaves Kim Tate (Claire King) feeling reflective in upcoming episodes of Emmerdale.

The festive period saw Will and Kim’s feud end when he died of a heart attack. Because Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) returned at the same time, a grieving Dawn (Olivia Bromley) decided he was responsible for k.i.l.l.i.n.g her dad.

Dawn then found a USB among Will’s belongings. When she played the video attached, Dawn was shocked to hear Will say that Kim k.i.l.l.e.d him.

What followed next was a revenge plan that saw Dawn d.r.u.g Kim with ketamine in an attempt to get more information out of her.

Kim did open up to Dawn, but simply said the truth – she was feuding with Will before Christmas, but absolutely did not k.i.l.l him.

Kim then fell unconscious and had a seizure. She was rushed to hospital by Dawn and Joe, and then covered for Will’s daughter by telling the police she was responsible for the d.r.u.g overdose in a ‘cry for help’.

In upcoming episodes, Kim opens up to Joe while they sit in the graveyard. It becomes apparent she really misses old flame Graham Foster, who was k.i.l.l.e.d by Pierce Harris.

Kim’s grief over Will remains raw, but after a few supportive comments from Joe, she starts to feel better.

After losing so many people in her life, Kim will no doubt feel grateful to have another Tate back in Home Farm.

Let’s just hope Joe doesn’t have any ulterior motives, huh…
