After suffering another life-threatening head injury, Liam is determined to find the person responsible for this savage assault. But both he and his fiancée Chas are left with no leads when PC Swirling delivers an unexpected twist: prime suspect Ella Forster has a rock-solid alibi.
According to our Emmerdale insider:
“At first, Chas and Liam suspect that Ella returned to finish what she started. But PC Swirling reveals that it couldn’t possibly have been her.”
While it’s somewhat comforting to know Ella isn’t lurking around the village, this revelation also leaves them with a horrifying realization — a violent attacker is still out there, possibly living right next to them.
With no progress and no new suspects, the pressure begins to take a toll. Liam and Chas are struggling to hold it together. What should have been one of the happiest times in their relationship has instead turned into a waking nightmare. They are living in fear, knowing someone may want Liam dead — and they have absolutely no clue who it could be.
The terrifying attack takes place in this Friday’s episode, April 25th, when Mackenzie Boyd discovers Liam unconscious on the ground — the attacker nowhere in sight. Chas and Aaron rush to the scene, horrified by the vicious assault.
So, will Liam ever discover who attacked him?
Can he and Chas stay strong through the storm, or will the fear and stress tear them apart?
