Emmerdale ‘seals’ third crash victim after secret injury clue – but ‘not Amy’

There could be a shock d.e.a.t.h looming on Emmerdale with a surprise exit teased for Chas Dingle.

With her busy worrying about her injured partner Liam Cavanagh, it was clear she was hiding pain of her own tonight. The character was shown wincing in pain before telling pal Charity Dingle everything was fine.

Chas was at the hospital after the devastating limo crash which claimed the lives of Suzy Merton and Leyla Cavanagh. It also left characters including Liam and Amy Wyatt in peril, while Noah Dingle was harmed in a separate incident – and a body in the lake teased a shocking m.u.r.d.e.r.

Others including Chas and Kerry Wyatt faced minor injuries, and now there’s fears that another d.e.a.t.h is on the way. But something about a scene with Chas and her pal Charity tonight left fans convinced a major twist loomed.

A surprising exit and d.e.a.t.h could be on the cards according to a new theory, with a possible secret injury. Fans wondered if Chas downplaying a back injury could lead to her being the third crash victim.

All the focus is currently on Amy, who suffered a seizure at the end of the episode. Liam is also in a bad way with Chas there to support him, not worrying about herself.

But Charity seemed concerned when her relative suddenly winced and grabbed her side in agony mid conversation. Chas claimed it was a back injury and nothing major, and that she’d been assessed.

Charity then asked her if she was sure she was okay to which Chas downplayed it and moved on the conversation. She’d told Charity: “I’m fine, I just twinged my back when I was crossing the ice and they have given me some p.a.i.n.k.i.l.l.e.r.s. I’m fine, yes.”

She then continued to hold her side and winced as she asked about Noah’s condition. Viewers watching the scenes were convinced there was more to it and that Chas’ injuries could be worse than she thought.

So might she have a secret injury that could lead to a shock d.e.a.t.h for the character? Taking to X one fan said: “Right so Chas’ back injury is defo gonna be worse than she’s saying it is, right?”

Another agreed: “Did they check Chas she needs MRI scan in my opinion the crash could have dislodged a disc or anything in spine.” A third fan posted: “Is Chas going to be a twist in the story?”
