EMMERDALE has revealed a shocking new organ-harvesting plot as Joe Tate finally confirms what’s wrong with him.

But in today’s episode it was revealed that he has chronic kidney disease and has been giving himself daily dialysis to stay alive.

He is in desperate need of a kidney transplant.

And after his plot to steal one from his younger half brother Noah, Joe has now hatched a new plan.

“I think I’ve already found someone,” he told his dodgy doctor.

The doctor told him: “Make sure this one’s a match, we don’t want a repeat of last time and what happened in that crash.

“I did say that we should check his compatibility before getting him onto the operating table…”

“I’m being extra careful this time,” insisted Joe.

“Already had one failed transplant, so can’t risk another.”

He added: “Another blood relative. Keeping it in the family. You said it yourself, a living donor that’s a match gives me my best chance.”

The doctor warned him: “If that’s what you want but my fee will have to go up.

“This is very risky. And I take it we’re not talking about a willing donor.”

Joe said ominously: “If I ask, we run the risk of them saying no. This way they won’t see me coming.”

With only Caleb Miligan being blood-related to Joe – how much danger is he in? And can he survive Joe’s plot?
