Emmerdale spoilers: Betrayal as Paddy Kirk cheats on Mandy Dingle with Chas in heated moment
Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) is flipflopping once again between Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter), only this time Chas is in an intensely vulnerable state and Mandy does not deserve what’s about to come her way.
It’s taken months and months, and many emotional battles, to get Paddy and Mandy to the good place that they’re in now, but Paddy throws it all away in one impulsive moment.

Aaron (Danny Miller) is worried for his mum when he realises she hasn’t factored in enough recovery time after her op.
He struggles to get across his concern, but there’s one person who can get through to her. It’s Paddy who seeks to get her to face up to what she’s about to endure.
They have a long heart-to-heart, and she finally opens up about where her head is at. He comforts her as she confesses her worst fears. Caught up in a beautifully supportive moment, they kiss like old times.
But it isn’t beautifully supportive, it’s horrifically advantage-taking. Paddy immediately realises his mistake and handles it in his usual ham-fisted manner, leaving Chas hurt and full of regret at opening up so much.
Paddy confesses his indiscretion to Mandy, driving a stake into her heart. That’s two for two. But in a worrying twist, she shows little to no reaction, leaving Paddy concerned.
Chas undergoes the surgery, and when she comes round, she realises the magnitude of what she’s just done.
But who’s there to support her as it sinks in?
