Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is trying to be there for her family in Emmerdale, but the prospect of time behind bars has left her feeling incredibly distracted.

In a recent episode of the ITV soap, Rhona was arrested after kidnapping baby Ivy. Due to the fact Rhona is only Ivy’s biological mother and not her legal one, she is facing frustrating and unfair consequences after taking Ivy from her dad Gus (Alan McKenna).

Rhona took Ivy from the village after learning of Gus’s plan to move to France. Unable to part with her child, Rhona’s took desperate action, but failed to think about the impact it would have on Marlon (Mark Charnock) and her other children.

Yesterday (February 22), Rhona was informed son Leo (Harvey Rogerson) had gotten into trouble at school.

At the pub, Marlon and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) said that Leo believed Rhona didn’t care about him anymore, due to how much she’s focusing on Ivy.

Rhona was devastated and after clashing with April (Amelia Flanagan) again, she knew she had to do something about it.

At the start of the day, Rhona told April that she’d pick her up from netball practice, but would be running a little bit late.

However, when Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) offered a listening ear to Rhona in the pub, time started to tick away.

After a long chat, Vanessa got up to order more drinks, just as Marlon entered with some bad news for Rhona.

Marlon told his partner that he had to pick up April from netball, because Rhona completely forgot.

It was a small incident, but it served as a reminder that Rhona keeps slipping up as a result of how distracted she is.

If she gets sent to prison because of Ivy’s kidnapping, can she deal with the impact that will have on April and Leo?
