Emmerdale star teases arrival of Tom King’s sister despite claims pair ‘arent close’
Emmerdale's Tom King's reign of terror is set to continue in upcoming scenes and actor James Chase has revealed he's "interested" to explore his relationship with his sister Anya King
Emmerdale’s James Chase says it would be “interesting” to explore Tom King’s relationship with his younger sister Anya. King.
Their parents Carl and Colleen King separated when they were younger and the youngsters first appeared in the ITV soap back in 2004 when Colleen told Carl that she wanted a divorce and initially refused to let him see their children.
While Tom moved back to the village in April 2023, his younger sibling was last seen in the village back in 2012 when Tom and Anya played an emotional farewell to their aunt and uncle Jimmy and Nicola King as they headed to Saudi Arabia to be with their mother before their dad Carl was killed by Cameron Murray.
Tom learned his of his mother’s death in October last year and actor James has revealed that he’d like more family members to join him in the Dales. the soap star told Daily Star and other press: “It would be interesting.
Next week, Tom is left lifeless after accidentally electrocuting himself while trashing a barn during one of his violent rages. as he continues to control and manipulate wife Belle Dingle. While spoilers remain coy over whether or not he survives the incident, it has been confirmed that his reign of terror is far from over.
Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has revealed that producers have had their ending planned for the storyline since the beginning, and revealed the gripping plot will run until the end of the 2024 despite fans begging the storyline to come to an end.
Laura said: “We said right from the beginning we wanted to tell the story as truthfully and authentically as we can. This isn’t something that is over in a couple of weeks, it goes on for a long length of time. Viewers can expect the storyline to run until the end of this year.”
“I think I’ve always had a good idea of how we’d want it to end. We’ve found new twists and turns as it’s gone through, but I’ve always had a picture in my head of where it would end. What we will see is Tom finding different ways to manipulate Belle and to control Belle so we will see an escalation.”
