Emmerdale taken off air in major ITV schedule shake-up
Emmerdale fans will have to be patient this week as tonight's episode has been pulled from ITV.
Emmerdale might be in the middle of a gripping murder plot, but it has been taken off air this evening (Tuesday, June 3), so viewers will have to wait longer than usual to see how things pan out.
Monday’s episode of the ITV soap ended in aspectacular fashion when Ruby Milligan (played by Beth Cordingly) confessed to killing her father after mistakenly believing the dead body in the lake was his.
She had no idea the person pulled from the water was, in fact, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
The cliffhanger left fans desperate to learn what will happen in the next instalment of the soap, but they will have to wait until tomorrow evening when it is back on.
Airing in Emmerdale’s place tonight is the UEFA Women’s Nations League as England takes on Spain.

Coverage starts at 5.40pm while kick-off is at 6pm, and the match will run until 8.20pm.
Once the game is over, ITV will immediately start Midsomer Murders, which will be on for an hour.
When Emmerdale returns to screens, it will air slightly earlier than its usual 7.30pm slot. Instead, Wednesday’s instalment will be an hour long and air at 7pm.
A second hour-long episode will air on Thursday at 7pm and will be followed by this year’s Soap Awards at 8pm. Emmerdale will return to its regular 7.30pm timeslot on Friday evening.
Upcoming episodes will follow the wedding between John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), where the latter had to choose between his fiancée and ex-husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who made an explosive return to the Dales.
With the wedding out of the way, all eyes are on Nate’s brutal murder, and villagers are set to lock horns in scenes yet to air over the villagers’ tragic death.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
