Emmerdale teases Nate Robinson’s true fate as character missing in fire fallout

Emmerdale's Nate Robinson sparked concern in the aftermath of the barn blaze as no one could get hold of him amid his exit from the ITV soap, with actor Jurell Carter bowing out

Emmerdale’s Nate Robinson remained missing during Thursday’s barn fire fallout, sparking concern with viewers and other characters.

The character was last seen on Monday night after a devastating showdown with his father Cain Dingle. Nate was accused of kissing his stepmother Moira Dingle after a misunderstanding amid her health issues.

Cain assumed the pair had reignited their affair five years on, and he wasted no time in beating up his son. Nate’s wife Tracy Metcalfe also didn’t believe him when he claimed nothing happened, with her telling him to leave for good.

Nate had secured a job in Scotland amid actor Jurell Carter’s exit from the ITV soap, with Tracy deciding she and daughter Frankie would no longer be going with him. In the last scenes we saw of Nate, he vowed to confront Moira about their non-kiss, wanting to know why she didn’t admit the truth.

Of course he had no idea that Moira was battling a mystery health issue causing odd behaviour and seizures. Moira was told on Thursday that there was a mass on her brain and she’d need further medical tests.

But throughout the dramatic episode on Wednesday and Thursday’s fallout, Nate has not been shown at all. Several characters were shown wondering where he was, trying to make contact with him.

Cain was urged to speak with his son and clear the air, after he’d disowned him over the misunderstanding. Cain feared he’d lost his son for good, with him shown torn over calling him.

Tracy was also shown leaving him a voicemail message after she failed to get through to him on the phone. With him not answering, she begged him to not break their daughter’s heart.

Other characters including Moira mentioned Nate, but there were no scenes of him at all during the stunt or beyond. With it yet to be confirmed whether he’s already left or if something bad has happened to him, fans have been left convinced he will be killed off.

So with him being AWOL and hints of something having happened, could the fact no one can reach him mean he will be a surprise victim of stunt week? Viewers will have to tune in on Friday to find out what has happened to the character!
