Emmerdale teen confirms she’s pure evil leaving her family in a panic

There was always a worry that Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) would come back to Emmerdale a different person. But now it’s becoming a frightening reality for Nicola (Nichola Wheeler) and Jimmy King (Nick Miles).

Angel has been in a secure unit since killing Heath with her reckless behaviour, and while it was a given that she’d come out a changed person, no one quite expected this.

There’s obviously something in the blood for this family, what with adult Carl being a murderer, Tom (James Chase) being an abuser, and now Angel.

To the joy of Nicola and Jimmy, Angel has returned home early. It’s light amongst some darkness with Tom’s evil having had such an impact on the family and driven a wedge through Nicola and Jimmy’s marriage.

But Angel’s return will instead bring more darkness upon her family. The correctional facility has done more than just harden her.

After being home for a little while, Nicola suggests it’s time for Angel to go back to school. Angel thinks this suggestion is utterly outrageous and disproportionately snaps at her mum.

This is where she is prompted to make a chilling confession – she admits to her mum she has an innate evilness. Nicola is left unnerved and runs to pal Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) for support.

Together they pick apart what Angel could really mean. Even daft as a brush Jimmy could work that one out.

What’s clear to Laurel though is that Nicola needs her husband, and Laurel urges her to reconcile with him.

Is this Emmerdale’s nod to a new era of terror befalling the village? How will her evil show itself?
