EMMERDALE is set to flashforward in FIVE major storylines on New Year’s Eve.
The soaps all pull out the stops over Christmas and New Year, with major storylines culminating – just as new ones open up.
And in Emmerdale, viewers will get a glimpse of what’s to come for five different big storylines in 2025.
On New Year’s Eve, a 30-minute episode airs at 7.45pm and it will tease multiple moments in the future.
Fans will be left to try and figure out when those moments occur and what part they play in the respective character’s lives.
While details remain tightly under wraps at the moment, die-hard Emmerdale fans will definitely not want to miss it.
Meanwhile, the Christmas episodes are set to focus on Home Farm, and will feature another flashforward.
A surprise visit from Peter ‘Pete’ Barton (Anthony Quinlan) at the Home Farm makes Will (Dean Andrews) uncomfortable and piles on the pressure for their Christmas Day plans.
A happy Kim (Claire King) sets off from the stables on a Christmas Eve ride.
But, soon in the fields, Kim’s horse wanders alone… and her rider is nowhere to be seen.
What has happened to Kim? Has Will gone ahead with his plans?
In a flash forward, at Home Farm, eerie Christmas music plays as a Christmas tree lays on the ground and evidence of a struggle surrounds it.
But, what events have led to this dramatic scene?
The couple have been playing each other off against the other for months after their marriage imploded.
But has things gone too far this time?
