Emmerdale: ‘work out’ dark twist as April Windsor goes missing in new storyline
It was previously revealed that Ruby Fox-Milligan was abused in her childhood
EMMERDALE fans they may have worked out the dark twist as April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) went missing in the new storyline.
On Christmas day, the teenager disappeared as Marlon (Mark Charnock) discovered that she ran away from home.
Earlier in December, fifteen-year-old April was violently kidnapped by Jade’s (Twinnie Lee-Moore) thugs.
However, in the festive edition the character was once again caught up in a shocking new plot.
A mystery vehicle pulled up into the village and ITV viewers saw April get into the back of the car.
The male driver then drove off to a mystery location as she reflectively looked out of the window.
She has been missing ever since, and many Emmerdale fans have been speculating who could have been at the wheel of the car.
Some viewers think that Ruby Fox-Milligan’s (Beth Cordingly) abusive estranged father Anthony Fox could be behind April’s disappearance.
It was previously confirmed that the character s.e.x.u.a.l.l.y abused his own daughter Ruby on her 16th birthday.
This led many to guess that he was the one who is behind the disappearance of April as they took to X – formerly known as Twitter.
One fan questioned: “Why has Anthony got a random bandaged hand. He’s got April, he’s faked being a friend to her and he’s got her somewhere.
“She’s fought back and he’s covering a wound. He’s a wrong un. I don’t even believe he’s d.y.i.n.g.”
A second stated: “Anthony has got April!”
“Anthony has april i’m calling it,” exclaimed a third user.
As a fourth predicts: “Part of me thinks Anthony the n**** was the driver in the car April got into last night.”
While a fifth added: “I’m wondering if Anthony (Ruby’s dad) could be involved in April’s disappearance as he is a n****.”
It was previously revealed that Soap bosses worked with charity Missing People to ensure their portrayal of the disappearance is as accurate as possible.
This comes after Coronation Street actress Rhea Bailey joined the rival soap.
She’s best known for playing deranged abuser Caz Hammond on the cobbles between 2015 and 2016.
Emmerdale continues on ITV1 and is available to watch on ITVX.
