Emmerdale’s Billy Fletcher’s new girlfriend ‘revealed’ and fans are ‘very happy’

Emmerdale’s Billy Fletcher was recently stunned when his wife Dawn broke off their marriage.

Cheating Dawn (Olivia Bromley) and Billy (Jay Kontzle) tied the knot in 2022 and have a blended family that includes three children.

However, the couple’s marriage started to come under pressure when villain Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) made a surprise return to the village at Christmas.

At the time, Dawn was consumed with grief following the sudden d.e.a.t.h of her dad, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), and was also struggling following the shock leukaemia diagnosis of her son Evan, whom she shares with Billy.

As Joe settled into life at home farm, he took an interest in Dawn and the pair kicked off an affair and now claim they are in love.

Last week, after Joe confessed his true feelings for Dawn, she made a big decision – to end things with Billy to be with Joe.

As expected, Billy was heartbroken over their separation and confused about why their relationship ended. He even questioned Dawn if she had met someone else.

However, some Emmerdale fans urge Billy to forget about cheating Dawn and move on with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), who “deserves to be happy”.

As fans of the ITV soap will know, Belle suffered at the violent hands of her husband Tom (James Chase) and was forced to flee her marriage.

Tom was physically and mentally abusive and controlling of Belle, and in a sickening twist, he even made out that her beloved pet dog Piper had been k.i.l.l.e.d in a road accident.

After months of torment, Belle finally mustered enough courage to report Tom to the police. He was eventually put behind bars, and Belle has remained single ever since.

Could Billy and Belle make the perfect couple? Some Emmerdale viewers think so.

Taking to Facebook, one fan wrote: “Come on let’s find a suitable girl for Billy, Dawn is so dumb to leave a loyal father of her children!!.”

A second immediately replied: “Belle”, while a third gushed: “Belle would be lovely for Billy x.”

“There is only Belle worth having”, added one viewer while another stated: “I think Belle! She deserves to be happy.”

“Belle she needs a good man he needs a good woman but Emmerdale don’t do happy ever after unfortunately…”, added another disappointed fan.
