Emmerdale’s Joe-Warren Plant introduces new girlfriend in loved-up snap after model split

Emmerdale' star Joe-Warren Plant is looking loved up in new social media snaps as he goes Instagram official with his gorgeous new girlfriend months after splitting from model ex

Love is in the air for Emmerdale’s Joe-Warren Plant, as he’s gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend, just months after his heartache following a break-up from with model ex Anna Norton.

The 22-year-old soap star, who also pulls pints in a pub as a second job, has shared a sweet snap with a stunning brunette called Isabella, as they both pose for a photo in the mirror. Joe, who plays Jacob Gallagher, stands behind Isabella as she smiles for the camera, and was tagged to a private account under her name.

Joe previously dated model Anna for more than two years, they had a pet cat and bought a house together in Blackpool too. It wasn’t to be though, as insiders told The Sun their relationship hit the rocks despite a sunshine holiday to the US.

The source said: “Joe and Anna are over, it’s very sad but they are still very young.” Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to end well, with the source adding: “It hasn’t been the amicable split they were hoping for and they aren’t speaking now at all.”

The young couple had previously fallen out over claims she had been unfaithful. The source said Joe had been left furious at the time after finding inappropriate messages on her phone.

Despite this, they managed to patch things up and adopted a cat together, adorably called Wolfie. The new relationship comes just months after the heartbreaking death of his mum at the age of just 47 due to liver problems.

Joe has previously opened up about his love for Emmerdale: “I am happy here and see myself here for the foreseeable future. I never thought I would get to this point and I really want to reiterate how grateful I am.”

“Sometimes when I look at pictures of myself over the years, I just think ‘wow I have been here for 13 years’. It’s crazy but it is so much fun.” He’s been at the centre of some dramatic storylines lately, after taking time away from the show to be able to take part in Dancing On Ice.
