Emmerdale’s ‘most harmless villager’ behind Will blackmail plot as fans twig culprit

Emmerdale viewers are convinced they have rumbled who is blackmailing Will Taylor as they took to social media to share their theories about the ITV soap

Emmerdale fans believe they’ve cracked the case on who’s the mastermind tormenting Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) on theĀ ITVĀ favourite, and it’s an unexpected twist.

In nail-biting scenes, Will has been left shaken as an unknown foe launched a blackmail scheme against him. Initially, Will suspected his estranged ex Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), especially after their recent spat.

However, when he attempted to confront her via a callback to the mystery number, it was clear she wasn’t the culprit. The blackmailer upped the stakes demanding a whopping Ā£10,000, forcing Will to part with his posh timepiece to meet the demand.

There’s only one other character clued into his dilemma – business partner Jimmy King (Nick Miles), reportsĀ the Express.

Given Jimmy’s current financial woes, even contemplating offloading his stake in the haulage company, some soap aficionados are betting Jimmy is behind the twisted plot.

Another echoed the sentiment: “I’ve said him”, followed by someone else adding: “I think its Jimmy.”

The theories didn’t stop there, with others bluntly siding with the speculation: “True”, and another declaring: “Yes, it’s him.”

It remains to be seen who is behind the blackmail horror but the storyline will continue across the next few episodes, leaving viewers gripped. Meanwhile,Ā EmmerdaleĀ is set for explosive scenes this September.
