Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is to launch a vicious act of blackmail on Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) in EastEnders next week.

The two men haven’t seen eye-to-eye ever since Harry swanned into Walford – and straight into bed with Jack’s daughter Penny (Kitty Castledine).

Fiercely protective of her, he made no secret of the fact he should keep his distance when he spotted Harry day drinking in The Vic earlier this month.

The harsh words didn’t go unnoticed by Teddy (Roland Manookian), who initially saved face before strolling over to No. 27 and demanding Jack stay away from his son.

The pair eventually came to blows last week after it was revealed that Jack had been blaming the wrong person for the club crush at Peggy’s.

It seemed obvious that Penny was the one responsible, but it later transpired that Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) had actually oversold the tickets in a bid to jeopardise her job.

A huge argument broke out in the Square, with Jack throwing a punch at Harry. He then decided to team up with Penny to bring her dad down, having obtained footage of the altercation from wicked Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall).

In upcoming scenes, the pair use the video against him, before Jack heads to The Arches to demand answers.

Harry insists that he should agree to his blackmail terms before the end of the week – what does he have planned?
Later, Jack speaks with Penny about a worrying discovery he’s made.

As the week goes on, Penny confronts Harry but he is quick to settle her worries. However, the incident eggs him on to hurt Jack even more, and he returns to No. 27 to inform him that the blackmail deadline has moved forward to tomorrow.

Eventually, Jack reluctantly agrees to turn a blind eye to Harry’s dodgy dealings.

Something tells us that this isn’t over!
