Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) edges closer to discovering partner Cindy’s (Michelle Collins) affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) in EastEnders this week.
It’s all building up to a dramatic Christmas Day reveal, which will divide the Beale and Knight families in spectacular fashion.
We know that Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) has accidentally recorded a conversation between Cindy and David Wicks (Michael French), in which she detailed every gruesome detail of her fling with her former step-son and adoration for ex-husband George (Colin Salmon).
The situation is a ticking time bomb, and will be the present that nobody wants under their tree this festive season!
Apart from us, of course. We love the drama.
In upcoming scenes, Ian takes charge of the Christmas lights switch-on in The Square, and enlists Cindy to help him out.
She has other things on her mind though – as there are fears that Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) will remember everything about her affair with Junior following his accident.
Following a secret meeting with Junior, she’s shocked to learn that his uncle is being woken up from his coma and she heads to the hospital to see him.
Elsewhere, Ian overdoes the festive planning and begins to suffer chest pains. Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) insists that they can’t take any risks, and calls an ambulance.
She’s also convinced that that Cindy is the root of his problems, and tells the doctors that she is to blame for his stress.
Ian also decides that it’s probably best to keep his health woes a secret.
Later in the week, Junior is shocked to hear that Kojo knows about his wrongdoings with Cindy and she begs him to keep him quiet. He nervously heads to the hospital to talk with him.
What will he do?
Before long, things quickly turn steamy and the two jump back into bed together – but Cindy makes a quick exit after a surprise gift from him.
She returns home, where Ian discovers the jewellery box in her coat pocket.
Has he discovered the horrifying truth?
