ITV Emmerdale Aaron Dingle ‘set for family twist’ and his love child is already in village
Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle has been at the centre of the soap for over a decade, but fans reckon he is about to be rocked by a secret love child storyline.
Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller, could be in for a surprise love child plot twist, according to soap fans.
Since his first appearance in the Dales back in 2008, Aaron has become a beloved character with numerous major storylines under his belt.
These include affairs, a romance with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), and even a stint in prison. Recently, the drama escalated when Aaron, haunted by his own past abuse, violently attacked paedophile Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), believing he had k.i.l.l.e.d him.
He confided in his boyfriend John Sugden (Oliver Fainworth), who helped him cover up the crime. However, it was later revealed that Anthony’s estranged daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly) was the real k.i.l.l.e.r, much to Aaron’s relief.
Now, fans are speculating about a potential paternity bombshell for Aaron, suggesting he may have a secret child from his past who is already a familiar face on the show.
Aaron has been a staple on the soap for decades
Emmerdale fans have been left speculating on a fan Facebook page about the mysterious link Dylan (played by Fred Kettle), the soap’s latest addition, might share with a familiar face in the Dale.
The newcomer first appeared last week as April Windsor’s (Amelia Flanagan) street-smart friend who had vanished for several months, reports Leicestershire Live.
Now, whispers amongst the fans suggest that Dylan may be related to Aaron — and some reckon he could be his son.
Fans reckon Dylan cold be Aaron’s secret child
One eagle-eyed viewer speculated: “I’ve been thinking the soap could easily retcon a few things and introduce someone as Aaron’s long-lost kid. I’m surprised they haven’t done it before.”
This theory picked up traction among the fan community as another added: “You’re right they could. It would definitely be interesting! He’s been with women before.”
A third chimed in with: “I thought maybe the homeless lad April was hanging out with? ” While a fourth sealed the conjecture with: “Oh yes Dylan! You might be onto something.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
