ITV Emmerdale confirms who will expose Ella Forster’s secret as truth finally ‘revealed’

Emmerdale has revealed who will bring down Ella Forster’s secret in a surprise turn of events.

Ella – played by Coronation Street star Paula Lane – arrived in the village earlier this year, where she quickly made a beeline for eligible bachelor Liam Cavanagh. The pair soon hit it off, and are now an item.

However, Ella has been acting more cagey recently – with her meeting up with a lady called June, but fans are not convinced she is her mother like it has been claimed – and they believe she has a connection to someone else in the village.

Tonight, Ella saw red as Liam came to ask if she was ok, and later she ranted to Manpreet that things had been difficult, before confessing to her that her mother had died leaving her devastated.

Ella was quizzed by Leyla about how things were between her and Liam, to which she quickly shut her down and warned her not to get involved in her business. When Manpreet asked what had happened, Ella said she was annoyed by Leyla being nosy, before her friend Manpreet confirmed that Leyla was like that.

Could Leyla finally be the one to discover what Ella is hiding from the whole village? Fans have been convinced she is somehow linked to serial killer Meena Jutla, with some sure she is an old friend or cell mate of Meena, whilst others believe that June is connected to one of Meena’s victims – but is this the case, and what is Ella keeping from her fellow villagers?

A few weeks back, Paula confirmed Ella is hiding something huge. She teased: “Ella does have a past that is going to be revealed. She does have responsibilities elsewhere outside the village that mean a great deal to her and I’m so looking forward to exploring this further. When something or someone so important to her is put at risk she will fight so hard to protect that situation. This is a part of her we’ve yet to see and there is currently a lot at stake and a lot to fight for.”

When she arrived in the Dales, Paula teased that she’d be at the centre of a love triangle – as things heated up between her and Liam, whilst he still had a strong interest in Chas Dingle.

“There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery,” she said.
