ITV Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ newcomer Gina’s real identity in huge DNA bombshell
Emmerdale viewers are convinced they've rumbled newcomer Gina's real identity as she targeted Caleb Milligan on Wednesday's episode

Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve rumbled newcomer Gina’s real identity.
On Wednesday’s episode, which is available to watch on ITV X, Joe Tate went through with his sinister plan to target Caleb Milligan.
Viewers may remember that Joe is battling chronic kidney disease and faces a grim prognosis without a transplant.
After drugging his half-brother, Noah Dingle, in an attempt to secure his kidney, he learnt through his private doctor, Dr Crowley, that Noah wasn’t a match.
Consequently, Joe set his sights on another family member, his uncle Caleb Milligan, who he has learnt is a match.
On Wednesday’s episode, Joe enlisted newcomer, Gina, to drug Caleb over at the depot, pretending to be an interested client.
However, the spiking didn’t go to plan and as such Joe resorted to violent measures, ordering fellow accomplice Shaun to stab Caleb and steal his car.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to share their thoughts on newcomer Gina with many thinking they’ve rumbled her true identity in a huge DNA twist.
One person said: “I wonder is Gina, Really Jean Tate? #Emmerdale” to which several other viewers agreed with the theory.
Soap watchers will recall that Jean Tate is the daughter of Zoe Tate and Scott Windsor, she was born in 2003.
Jean lived in the village until 2005, where she moved to New Zealand with Zoe and Joe. Could Gina actually be Jean and she’s working with cousin Joe to help him?
It comes as scenes later this week see Joe’s evil plan carried out as a seriously injured Caleb is swiftly taken to a private surgery where Dr Crowley awaits.
Dr Crowley is horrified by the situation as it’s not what he signed up to and he worries he can’t save Caleb as the stabbing is too severe.
The situation reaches a critical point with Caleb flat lining on the operating table while Dr. Crowley attempts to save him and perform the transplant. Later, Dr Crowley works feverishly to try and bring Caleb back to life.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Ross Barton and Charity Dingle attempt to track Joe, will they find him in time?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
