Emmerdale viewers are convinced they have worked out the identity of the second d.e.a.d body in the lake.
Emmerdale fans are abuzz with speculation that another deceased character lies hidden in the depths of the show’s infamous lake, potentially a beloved figure from the Dales.
The drama has been at fever pitch recently, with 17 characters’ fates left uncertain following a catastrophic collision involving two limousines—one driven by Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and the other by Caleb Miligan (William Ash)—resulting in one vehicle’s chilling plunge into an icy lake.
The harrowing incident claimed the lives of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), who suffered a fatal blow to the head, and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), who succumbed to “severe blood loss” after being impaled by shattered glass.
While the majority of the women escaped the submerged limo, Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) experienced a horrifying moment when she spotted another body under the ice, identifiable by a bracelet similar to her own.
After a desperate struggle, Amy was rescued from the freezing waters only to tragically pass away from hypothermia in hospital before she could inform her family about the underwater sighting. Although the lake was searched and the limo retrieved, the identity of the mysterious corpse remains a secret.
