ITV Emmerdale legend ‘in peril’ as ‘work out’ stalker twist
Emmerdale fans are convinced that one legendary character could be ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ off as another ramps up their sinister behaviour.
Emmerdale enthusiasts are on edge over the fate of Liam Cavanagh, as his former flame Ella Forster (played by Paula Lane) seems to be developing an unhealthy fixation with the doctor.
In recent plot twists, Liam (portrayed by Jonny McPherson) ended things with Ella to chase a budding romance with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), following a heartfelt confession of their mutual feelings and a sealing smooch.
Liam called it quits with Ella without revealing his newfound affection for Chas. The GP has since been clandestinely seeing his new love interest, leading to them being discovered.
Ella, known to viewers for her dark history of killing a childhood friend at the tender age of 11, seemed to have turned over a new leaf in adulthood. However, in Wednesday’s episode of the ITV soap (November 27), a visibly anxious Liam found himself under Ella’s watchful eye.
When Liam informed surgery receptionist Ella about needing to step out of the practice briefly, she attempted to thwart his plans by scheduling a ‘last minute appointment’, leaving him puzzled, reports Leeds Live.
A frustrated Liam retorted, instructing Ella to contact Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker). As he exited the surgery, she trailed behind him, only to be diverted by Brenda (Lesley Dunlop).
Later at The Woolpack, John (Oliver Farnworth) stumbled upon Chas and Liam locked in a fervent kiss, urging them to inform Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Ella about their relationship before they hear it from someone else.
Liam rocked up back at the clinic, only to be met with an interrogation from Ella who twigged straight away he’s spinning yarns about his day. After a bit of sneaky investigation, she worked out Liam’s so-called ‘patient’ isn’t in the Dales, but having a jolly in Rome.
Ella’s antics have got Emmerdale viewers thinking that something sinister could be in the pipeline, potentially putting Liam’s neck on the line.
On Twitter, fans aired their speculations with one tweeting: “The psycho in Ella is coming out…#Emmerdale”. Another fan was left scratching their head, “Why is Ella being a bunny boiler. Thought her and Liam finished ages ago. #Emmerdale.” (sic)
Yet another viewer jumped in with: “Ella doesn’t want people to think she’s a psycho… Going the right way about it #Emmerdale.” (sic)
Commentary continued as a fan remarked, “Ella really over stepping her duties to find out what Dr love rods up to”.” (sic)
One more fan chimed into speculation, asking: “Ella going to do another ᴍᴜʀᴅᴇʀ? #Emmerdale”. (sic)
