Emmerdale fans are abuzz with speculation that the village might witness a fourth fatality following the harrowing limo crash. This week has seen viewers heartbroken as Suzy Merton, Leyla Harding, and Amy Wyatt tragically died in the catastrophic event.

Yet, there’s growing concern that another character could be on the brink of d.e.a.t.h after displaying troubling symptoms in recent episodes. Chas Dingle has been seen grimacing and clutching her side, indicating pain from injuries sustained when the limo crashed onto an icy lake.

Although Chas has reassured her family that she’s been examined and given pain relief, fans fear a more grave outcome, suspecting she could be the next casualty of the limo disaster.

Social media is rife with theories, with one viewer tweeting: “I actually think Chas will die in #emmerdale”, another pondering: “Maybe Chas has something terrible going on with that back pain and she’s the last d.e.a.t.h on Friday?” and yet another expressing concern: “Summit wrong with Chas? #Emmerdale.”

Meanwhile, other comments include: “#Emmerdale ooh is Chas more hurt than she’s pretending”, and “Defo reckon Chas is gunna end up more hurt than she is saying cuz she’s too focused on Liam, she’s defo done sommat internally bad I reckon #Emmerdale.”

It comes as Emmerdale star Natalie Jamieson was left in tears after watching her character Amy’s dramatic departure from the ITV soap on Lorraine.

Speaking to Christine Lampard, Natalie confessed: “It was very traumatic. We watched it in the hotel because I knew I was coming here this morning. It was a very, very sad episode.”

She went on to say: “It wasn’t to be for Amy, but what a way to go! What an episode, what an exit”, and revealed how long she had been aware of her impending soap departure: “I’ve known for a long, long time, but I just think it’s so special.”

Natalie further expressed her desire for secrecy around the storyline, adding: “So when you don’t have spoilers for things like this, and when it comes as a surprise for the audience, and they get to watch it in real-time, there’s just something magical about it, so I was really keen to try and keep it under wraps.”

Emmerdale continues on ITV and ITV X.
