ITV Emmerdale rules out two major characters amid Will Taylor’s blackmail ordeal
Will Taylor is being blackmailed by a mystery enemy, lurking in the shadows of Emmerdale, but two suspects will be ruled out next week as chaos is set to rule over Emmerdale
Tragedy awaits next week as two characters will be risking their lives in a barnĀ fire, making it close to impossible that they could blackmail Will Taylor.
The character portrayed byĀ Dean AndrewsĀ was involvedĀ in pushing Rose Jackson outĀ of the eponymousĀ ITVĀ village, after it was revealed he had cheated on his wife Kim Tate (played byĀ Claire King) – but things have since spiralled out of control as his daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) discovered what he had done.
In recent scenes, Will was rattled when he received anonymous messages from an unknown source, clearly keen to make his life a living nightmare and viewers at home initially suspected Caleb Miligan and his wife Ruby (respectively portrayed byĀ Will AshĀ andĀ Beth Cordingly) to be at the root of all his suffering.
However, spoilers for next week confirm the pair may not even be involved at all as they are caught in a barn fire, with death tipped to be on the cards.
Coming up next week, Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) grip on reality fades and tempers flare after Caleb catches the glimpse of a heartfelt moment with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter, whoĀ was tipped to be leaving the show) and takes it as proof they’ve reignited their affair.
Soon enough, Caleb breaks the news to a shocked Cain who, taken aback, decides to confront Moira with the speculation. The Scot plays it down but Cain’s incredulity only irritates her further and she storms out. Elsewhere, Caleb confronts Nate about what he saw, leaving a shocked Tracy (Amy Walsh) devastated.
Things go from bad to worse moments later when Nate’s father Cain (Jeff Hordley) arrives and, hearing of Moira’s alleged betrayal, he snaps and punches Nate before he can even explain. The hunk is brutally beaten by theĀ EmmerdaleĀ tough man before Tracy interjects, begging him to stop the onslaught.
Unfortunately, Cain’s outburst is only the beginning. In other scenes, a devious Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) joins Moira in the barn to gloat but begins to feel sorry for the farmer, who is unresponsive to her jibes. Instead, Moira spills tractor fuel in the barn as Ruby’s voice blurs with that of her old nemesis,Ā Emma Barton,Ā whom she killed in 2017, lettingĀ her son AdamĀ take the fall.
Overwhelmed and unrecognisable, Moira raises a shotgun at a horrified Ruby and padlocks the barn, before firing a warning shot in the air. But things quickly escalate into a tussle for the weapon and Moira manages to knock Ruby out with a blow to the head.
Hazy and shaken, Moira is confused as she recovers but when the spark catches fire on the trail of tractor fuel, Moira freezes, helpless next to Ruby’s body.
Word of the fire soon spreads throughout the village next week as Moira’s brother Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) sees the smoke coming from the barn at a distance. But after desperately trying to reach Moira in vain, he is left with no choice but to make the trip himself on a quad bike.
Once at the barn, Mack bumps into newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) and the pair agree to make their way into the barn, but not before Mackenzie can warn Cain, Caleb and Chas of the fire.
The trio make their way to the barn in a panic, despite Cain’s anger at his wife. TheĀ EmmerdaleĀ tough man races to the burning barn, while his sister Chas tries to hold him back from facing the blaze. But when they’re trapped in the barn, a huge explosion throws them all to the ground, leaving them at death’s door.
This comes after fans of the Yorkshire-based programme believed that Kim Tate could be blackmailing her husband to get revenge on him over his infidelity. Can they settle their differences?
