ITV Emmerdale star confirms death as they let slip k.i.l.l.e.r spoiler
Emmerdale actor Chris Bisson, who plays the role of Jai Sharma, has let slip a major m.u.r.d.e.r twist in the village, as he appeared on Loose Women earlier this week
It looks like Emmerdale is gearing up for some seriously gripping drama as actor Chris Bisson, famed for his portrayal of Jai Sharma, teased a huge plot twist on Loose Women.
While having a chat with the Loose Women panel, which included Jane Moore, Frankie Bridge, Linda Robson and Judi Love, Chris couldn’t help but let slip some juicy gossip about the upcoming storylines in the Dales.
Jane probed: “What can you tell us about what is coming up for Jai?” Chris cheekily replied: “I don’t know, you know. I’ve been a little bit quiet over Christmas but the producers said that bad Jai is back soon.”
Jane quizzed: “Is that more exciting for an actor if you are playing a bit of a baddie.” Chris confessed: “It gets a bit boring playing nice all the time, it’s not as interesting so I don’t really know.
“He’s been robbed of anything from Caleb – Caleb has taken everything he owns so I suppose he is dangerous now because he’s got nothing to lose.”
But the real kicker came when he hinted at deadly deeds ahead, with Chris spilling: “I’ve just seen a sniff in a couple of scripts I read before the Christmas break that he’s on someone’s case. Won’t surprise you but there is a murder in the village.”
Linda probed further, asking: “Male or Female?” Chris kept his cards close to his chest, responding: “Oh I can’t possibly tell you anymore. I just read a couple scripts where it looks like Jai is going to be trying to figure out who did it.”
In other news, Emmerdale icon Joe Tate is poised for a dramatic return in a shocking flash forward scene – five years after leaving the soap, reports Leeds Live.
Joe, portrayed by Ned Porteous, will feature in tonight’s Christmas Eve episode and it has been unveiled that he is the mastermind behind Peter and Will’s scheme to topple his former step-mum, Kim.
Speaking about his comeback, Ned expressed: “I’m so excited to be returning to Emmerdale. There’s a lot of unfinished business for Joe, and it feels like the right time for him to make a comeback.
“Joe has always been a character with a dark side, but there could be something much bigger at play here. Joe is back for a reason, and the chaos at Home Farm is just the start of a much larger plot. It’s safe to say viewers are in for a treat this festive season!”
