Police officers in ITV Emmerdale are now on the case 'to find Anthony's body'
ITV Emmerdale fans are worried that the wrong villager will be arrested as police are now on the case to find the missing Anthony.
The village is now in panic as a police car is spotted at Celeb and Ruby’s house as police are wanting to speak to Anthony after Laurel admitted that she attacked him in a report. Spooked by seeing a the patrol car outside, Laurel and Nicola argue about what they’ve done to make Anthony ‘flee’ the village.
Laurel then storms off and Bob follows her to her house where she then admits what she did to Anthony. Bob then arrives late to the latest search party for April but accidently lets slip to Marlon and Rhona about what Laurel admitted – leaving them to think Anthony took April. Marlon storms over to Laurel’s house asking why he wasn’t told about Anthony’s history when they had suspicions.
Ruby tells police that Anthony is a free spirit and it is normal behaviour. After talking for a while, officers tell the pair to contact them if Anthony returns home just in time for Steph to arrive home. Caleb and Ruby agree to tell her everything but twist the truth by saying Anthony used to beat her. However, Steph doesn’t believe this and denies that her grandfather could be like that – then storms off.
Later in the backroom of The Woolpack, Chas, Caleb, John and Aaron agree on a backstory of Anthony’s ‘disappearance’. Marlon then storms in asking about whether it was true about Anthony’s past and is told the lie the group come up with to protect Aaron.
After hearing the half-truth from Ruby, Steph goes into the pub for a drink – but storms off again – after Nicola and Laurel apologise for attacking her grandad. But Marlon doesn’t believe what he was told about Anthony and thinks more is going on as the search for April continues.
