ITV Emmerdale tonight spoilers as Tom King fate finally sealed with police ‘trump card’

ITV Emmerdale fans will finally be able to celebrate as villainous Tom King will finally get his comeuppance when police see what is on the smashed up tablet.

In tonight’s episode, which dropped on ITVX this morning and will air on ITV1 at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 27, spoilers suggest that Belle is in the right place at the right time to receive some good news from the lead police officer dealing with her and Tom’s case.

Since coming back to the village from the mental institution she was residing in, Belle fears that the longer the police investigate her accusations against Tom, the more likely she will be arrested for putting an axe into her former husband’s back and he will get away with his crimes. However, karma finally catches up to him as CCTV images from the broken tablet are retrieved by the forensics team leading to Tom’s downfall.

This comes after a day of hell for Belle who has tried to get some of her family to understand that he has been torturing her for several days by admitting that she could not prove he stole her jumper. However, little does she know that finally she gets some good luck when she spots Amelia wearing it in the salon, despite Tom telling her to immediately go home to change – to which Kerry hears when she asks her to sort a chewing gum emergency.

Belle’s day gets a little brighter after hearing Tom gets arrested again but tries not to get her hopes up as she guesses that he will be released soon, however, that is not the case as the police pull a trump card by showing Tom all the CCTV images they have of him in the house after him and Belle separated – to which gets him charged.

Back in the village, Amelia finally comes to her senses after speaking to Kerry further at her house and goes in search of Belle to give the jumper back. She finds Belle in the Woolpack but as she goes over she overhears the police tell Belle that Tom has been arrested on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.

Elsewhere in the village, Liam tells Ella that he needs to leave the surgery but won’t be long but as he is about to go she arranged a ‘last minute appointment’ to derail him. However, that fails as Liam tells her to call Manpreet and just as she tries to follow Liam to see where he is going Brenda informs her that the patient is at the café. Later on at the Woolpack, John walks into Chas and Liam sharing a passionate kiss and warns them to tell Aaron and Ella before someone else does or finds out.

Liam arrives back at the surgery but is reprimanded by Ella and knows he is lying about where he was. Deciding to check where he was and call out Liam’s lie, she discovers that the ‘patient’ he saw is in Rome.

Meanwhile, Leyla talks to Eric and Brenda about their engagement party and is shocked to hear Eric wants it in less than 24 hours. After agreeing on a venue and price, Leyla gives them a mood board of ideas but Eric tells Brenda that he wants to design and tells her “no brides allowed” and tells her to go shopping while he plans it.
