Jacqueline Jossa breaks silence on Dan Osborne split and fumes speculation is ‘too much’
Jacqueline Jossa has broken her silence after the news that the couple have called it time on their relationship after eight years of marriage
EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa has spoken out after the news of her split from Dan Osborne – issuing a strong statement to fans a week after her and Dan’s joint announcement.
It was announced last Saturday that the EastEnders actress and The Only Way Way Is Essex star had called time on their relationship after eight years of marriage. In recent years, the couple had been surrounded by speculation over the state of their marriage, with some claiming that they had already split.

Now, Jacqueline, who was recently photographed without her wedding ring, has spoken out for the first time. Taking to Instagram, she said: “What happened to in a world where you can be anything be kind ay? Daniel and I are talking constantly, there is no big feud, stop looking for one.”
Clarifying rumours that Dan bought a secret separate home months before their marriage breakdown, Jacqueline added: “He bought a house for investment purposes. You always have to try and make someone the victim and someone the villain, which just isn’t the case. We are a team and working to look after our beautiful children. The sources the ‘pals’ the everything else in between. Is TOOO MUCH for anyone to take. Leave us alone.
“People who make out they are fans of me… please understand that trolling and bashing another human being isn’t okay and never will be. You’ll be blocked and deleted.”
The Lauren Branning actress’ statement comes after much speculation over her and former The Only Way Is Essex star Dan’s split. The couple revealed they had called time on their romance in a joint statement shared last week but claims the pair are holding ‘crisis talks’ and that Jacqueline’s friends are ‘worried’ about a potential reunion have since surfaced.
Confirming the news that their marriage had come to a halt, a joint statement said: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye. They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

A source close to the couple said: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” They added that neither Jac nor Dan know what will happen in the future but their break was “needed.”
Dan is believed to have moved out of the family home, which Jacqueline has stayed in with their two daughters, Ella, nine, and Mia, six. The source claimed to The Sun that the pair are “amicable” as they work through their differences. They also went on to confirm that there was nothing else surrounding their decision, other than their own relationship. “Jac and Dan have been rocked by their fair share of scandals but this situation could not be further from that,” the source said.
Their family home was put on the market earlier this year, with reports suggesting that Dan had purchased a home in his own name nearby. Last year, she shared a rare insight into their marriage as she set the record straight following allegations of infidelity from Dan as well as another split.
Last year, Jacqueline shared a rare insight into her marriage. She shared a string of loved-up snaps alongside her husband and gushed: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more!!”
