Jacqueline Jossa’s family cut ties with Dan Osborne after their shock split

Jacqueline Jossa’s family has thrown their support behind her following her reported split from husband Dan Osborne.

It comes amid the shock news that the couple has dramatically parted ways after eight years of marriage, though their breakup is said to be amicable. It has now been revealed that the Eastenders star’s mum Selina has unfollowed Dan on Instagram, who she had once appeared on friendly terms with. Meanwhile, Jacqueline’s sister Katrina is still following the star on social media.

Jacqueline, 32, and her TOWIE husband, 33, since 2013 and married in 2017, the pair share two young daughters, Ella, 10, and Mia, 7. Despite facing numerous challenges over the years, including allegations of infidelity and a terrifying kidnapping scare, the couple had seemingly remained strong.

However, recent reports suggest a change, with both of them reportedly removing their wedding rings. Dan is said to have moved out of their lavish £2 million Essex home, leaving Jacqueline and their children behind.

After months of speculation from concerned fans, signs of a breakdown in their marriage began to emerge – including when the were spotted at a film premiere without their wedding rings on. Earlier this year sources close to the couple revealed that they had decided to go their separate ways and were living apart.

A statement read: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye,” It added: “They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

A source close to the couple said: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” They added that neither Jac nor Dan know what will happen in the future but their break was “needed.”

Back in 2019, the pair was plagued by reports of Dan’s infidelity, prompting the reality star to issue a public apology to his wife – where he admitted to making errors. Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “So after weeks, months, years of constant articles & rumours, some true, some very untrue I want to publicly say, I know I have made mistakes, we all do as humans.

“But I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family. I have seriously learnt from these massively, so I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I’ve made.”
