Jade Goody’s mum Jackiey ‘won’t go quietly’ amid Jeff Brazier legal battle
Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden and ex Jeff Brazier are at war after he launched a legal bid to stop his youngest son Freddy from seeing his maternal grandmother
A feud is emerging between Jade Goody’s relatives as Jeff Brazier takes measures to protect his sons, prompting a source to reveal that grandmother Jackiey Budden “won’t back down” without a fight.
Jeff Brazier, Jade Goody’s ex-partner and father of her two children, has initiated a surprise legal action to prevent their youngest son, 20-year-old model Freddy, from seeing his maternal grandmother. Jeff aims to shield Freddy from what he claims is “a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his wellbeing”.
As Jeff seeks to block contact between Freddy and his 68 year old grandmother Jackiey through the courts, a source close to Jade has come forward to express understanding for Jeff’s concerns. “I can see where Jeff is coming from with this legal action. Jeff’s looking out for Freddy’s best interests..”
The source emphasizes the need for Freddy to receive support from the right people, given the challenges he faces after losing his mother at a young age. “Freddy needs support from the right people, as he struggles – he lost his mum at 4 years old, so anyone would struggle with that. And maybe Jackiey isn’t the right person to do that if she’s in a vulnerable position herself.”
Sources say Jackiey is gearing up for a battle, reports the Mirror. The insider said: “Who knows what’s going to happen next. As for Jeff, Jackiey has never been too fond of him – so this won’t have gone down too well with her.”
Speculation is rife as one insider remarked: “I have no idea what Jackiey’s next move might be – it could be anything’ – but Jackiey’s not going to go quietly. I’m secretly surprised we haven’t heard anything yet.'”.
