Joel’s sick s.e.x video move against EastEnders’ Avani revealed amid grim warning from Ross
Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) has made a troubling discovery concerning his son Joel (Max Murray) in EastEnders.
The newcomer has had quite a lot on his plate ever since he arrived in Walford earlier this year.
Alongside partner Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), the pair faced instant hostility from Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).
As long-term viewers will remember, Vicki was in a seemingly happy relationship with Alfie’s brother Spencer (Christopher Parker), but upon her return, we learned that she had cheated on him with Ross.
There was also the matter of their $50,000 debt, which Vicki believed was amassed when Ross divorced his wife to be with her.
The shocking reality is that Joel had amassed the sum – but we’re still not entirely sure how.
He’s made quite the impact on the other Albert Square teens, striking up a friendship with Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) and introducing him to pornography.
Joel has also grown closer to vulnerable Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), and the pair have slept together twice.
During their most recent encounter, Ross and Vicki caught them in the act.
Ross wasn’t a happy man at all, and in tonight’s episode, decided to lay down the law. He scorned Vicki for laughing about the situation and trying to parent his son.
However, it soon became clear that he had genuine concerns for his behaviour, knowing that this wasn’t the first time that Joel had brought trouble to his doorstep.
Vicki is still in the dark about why they had the flee from loan sharks in Australia, but upcoming scenes will reveal the exact reason as to why.
Ross approached Joel in the kitchen, and asked him whether he’d been watching ‘those videos’ again – he clearly knew about his son’s porn obsession.
Later, a much darker realisation was made.
Joel had left his phone on the dining table, and Ross couldn’t help but have a look. Amid endless selfies was a video of him sleeping with Avani – without her knowledge.
What will Ross do with this information?
